Technical Product Manager
Location: Karkkila, Finland
We are now looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our Product Management team in Helvar Components!
Helvar Components develops and manufactures high quality and sustainable LED Drivers, radio nodes and other electronics used in modern LED luminaires. In this role you would be responsible for technical support and product management for Helvar Components.
You would be leading a group of technical specialists, providing technical support to our domestic and international customers. Technical support as a function would be yours to foster and we want you to make it the best in industry. You would be working closely with our own, highly skilled R&D team to analyse and solve complex technical problems and making sure that customers receive the correct technical solutions for their inquiries about Helvar Components’ products and technical claims.
In this versatile role you would be also responsible for training our sales troops, partners and customers about our products, creating technical documentation, maintaining product information and supporting our sales. You get also to undertake short trips occasionally both domestically and in Europe.
We are a compact organization with a passion to outstand with our functions, and therefore we’d need you as well to be a developer with a good initiative. The role and tasks can be adjusted and evolves according to your strengths and interests too.
What we would like you to have:
- M.Sc or B.Sc in Electrical Engineering or Electronics
- Spoken and written fluency in English
- Competences to solve complex technical problems effectively
- Effective communication skills for customer interactions and internal collaborations
- Project management skills
What would be an added bonus if you have:
- Some understanding of lighting technologies and controls
- Experience on technical support and customer claim handling
- Experience on CRM tools (ie. SalesForce)
